About This Spot

Walking into SALTed, tucked away along the busy stretch of Jalan PJU 7/16a in Mutiara Damansara, you’re welcomed by an easygoing vibe that feels both familiar and quietly special. The atmosphere balances casual warmth with attentive, friendly service, creating a space where you don’t just eat—you connect.

Among the offerings, the signature Sarawak Laksa stands out not just as a dish, but as a ritual of flavor that shapes the dining experience here. Rich broths, delicate toppings, and a thoughtful interplay of sambal and lime hint at tradition, while dishes like the Kolo Mee and Mee Jawa reflect careful attention to simple ingredients elevated by practiced hands. Every bowl and plate arrive with an understated pride, reminding you that some of the most memorable meals are born from honest, passionate craft rather than flashy presentation.

Needed a Sarawak Laksa fix hence decided to try out a recommendation from my cousin. Overall the Sarawak Laksa was good although I liked mine to be more concentrated then it will be perfect! The sambal and lime piece was on point Price a little on the higher side if you compare from what you get in Sarawak or Kopitiam stalls here. We ordered the kolo mee with chicken and mushroom to try out as well..it was decent. Overall still good and will recommend to my Muslim friends

Really nice Sarawak Laksa, broth has good flavour. Belachan beehoon was mild but tasty, a dish not easily found. Mee Jawa was also quite nice. Oyster omelette was done quite well.

Came here for their Sarawak Laksa, Mee Jawa & Teh C Special (Gula Apong), to name a few of Sarawak's favourite! Met the owners Ms Sofea & husband who were very friendly & welcoming. All the staff were very accommodating & attentive. I've gotta say this is one 'makan' spot fellow Sarawakians & visitors to KL should visit for an experience closest to home. While having a discussion, demo the Sape' & my community work with researcher Ms Yasmin, SALTed's ambient really made us feel homely. Looking forward to my next visit to SALTed again! Next level deliciousness. Simple presentation of food yet bombing level of taste. Quick service. Teh C peng Apong so good! And the Sarawak Laksa, I tell you. You have to come to see how it looks like before engulfing it! 10/10!!

Google map recommendation in the mjtiara damansara area, so we nipped by for Sunday brunch. Tried the ori kolo mee with chicken and mushroom - i somehow prefer the maggi-like noodle and red onion oil version. And a sarawak laksa - this is closer to the taste i am familiar with having eaten at a number of locations. Fast, friendly service.

We came here for ifthor on weekends and booked last minute. The restaurant is nice, clean and comfortable. Parking is also easy to find. This restaurant served Sarawak cuisine. The food here is very delicious and satisfying. The mee kolok is excellent, the mee jawa is gravy is very tasty. The portion is fair and the price is affordable. The menu is just a few but all of it has been great. The service is also fast and the waiting time is not long. The staff has been very friendly and nice. The atmosphere is also great. We enjoyed our time here. The restaurant is spacious and there are also a lot of tables for dine in and it is very suitable to bring family and friends. Really recommended
